William Forsythe earned his bachelor’s of science degree in Psychology from Penn State University and his master’s of education in Counseling Psychology at Columbia University. He is certified as a clinical trauma professional with over ten years of experience in the field.
William Forsythe is a highly passionate, mental health professional believing in the importance of finding balance in all aspects of life. William supports children, teenagers, and adults as individuals, families, and couples with finding their own therapeutic inner strength. William is well-versed in many mental health concerns, and he focuses on sexuality, relationships, LGBTQI+, spirituality, and mood issues. William incorporates evidence-based techniques such as mindfulness, progressive muscle relaxation, meditation, Tai Chi, and music for clients to empower themselves. Assisting individuals with autism and ADHD spectrum related disorders has influenced William’s understanding of the great capacity every person has to become stronger. William centers therapy on building internal awareness and self-acceptance through exploring thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. Clients gain a deeper understanding of who they are and where they would like their life to grow.
