Lunch & Learn: Partnering for Better Outcomes

Strengthening the Connection Between Primary Care and Behavioral Health

Why This Matters

Every healthcare provider has patients who don’t seem to improve despite appropriate medical care.

They return with chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, poorly controlled diabetes, unexplained physical symptoms, or difficulty following treatment recommendations.

These complex cases can be frustrating for both providers and patients.

Our Goal

Our goal is to strengthen partnerships that help patients receive more coordinated, whole-person care. By understanding one another’s roles and sharing clinical perspectives, we can reduce barriers to treatment, improve communication, and support patients more effectively.

Whether you’re a physician, nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or behavioral health professional, you’ll leave with practical insights you can apply immediately in your practice.
