Clinician

Katlyn Walsh, LPC

If you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, or simply don’t feel like yourself, therapy can help you understand what’s underneath those feelings and find a way forward. I work with children, teens, adults, and families, adapting therapy to each person’s needs, experiences, and goals.

Trauma therapy is an important part of my work, including supporting people who are experiencing post-traumatic stress symptoms. I also have specialized training in Phase-Based Treatment for Problematic Sexual Behaviors in children ages 3–12, an evidence-informed approach that helps children and families address concerning sexual behaviors in a safe, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate way.

I have a particular interest in helping clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, or anger identify the underlying causes and develop healthier ways to cope. I believe that understanding the experiences behind difficult emotions can be an important step toward meaningful change.

I believe that mental health is connected to the whole of your life. Strengthening relationships, physical health, work, and the activities that bring you meaning and enjoyment can all play an important role in feeling better. My approach is supportive, practical, and focused on your strengths. Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in the way and develop solutions that help you feel more confident, connected, and able to enjoy your life.
