Maya earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Duquesne University. She works with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, LGBTQ+ concerns, and life transitions.
Maya is passionate about helping people build healthier, more connected relationships. Using a strengths-based, person-centered approach, she incorporates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to help people communicate more effectively, reduce conflict, and express their needs with confidence.
Maya believes that each person is the expert on their own life. She creates a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where people can feel supported, build on their strengths, and move toward meaningful change.
